What you'll learn.

Find out about the very latest Apple tools that make it easy to deploy and manage Apple devices in your school. See how you can guide students use of devices and apps in the classroom, and gain valuable insight into each individual's progress in the classroom, allowing you to focus on what’s most important: teaching.

Introducing new technology into the classroom can be very challenging. Western Computer can offer expert advice to encourage literacy in the classroom with iPad. Our team of Apple education specialists, some of whom are teachers themselves, will be on hand to answer your questions.

During the event, you will learn how to enhance literacy in the classroom by using a variety of Apple apps.
You will get hands on experience with Keynote, Pages, Numbers and creative solutions such as adventure games on the iPad.
Our workshops provide you with practical ideas to take back to the classroom, with lesson ideas that will work across the curriculum.

What is Sleuth IT?

Sleuth IT adventure games encourage literacy in the classroom with an immersive experience which places your students at the heart of a mystery that needs to be solved.
Collaboration, communication and problem solving as part of a team, help to crack the case. Whilst Sleuth IT is an iPad based game, it encourages your students to use pen and paper to problem solve throughout the game.
We will demonstrate how Sleuth IT addresses key curriculum areas.
