Apple Service Technician

Oxford (Full-time)

Western Computer is an Apple Authorised Service Provider and Apple Premium Reseller. We deliver Apple solutions to retail and business customers through six retail stores and head office. We provide a complete Apple package, selling and servicing the entire range of Apple products, giving advice, training and ongoing support to our customers.

Description:

We are looking to recruit an Apple Service Technician to join our Oxford team. Experience in repairing Apple products is obviously desirable but not essential as full training will be provided. A background in repairing Phones, tablets or computers of any kind is essential. The successful candidate will be diagnosing and repairing the entire range of macOS and iOS products in a very fast paced location.

 

As an Apple service tech you will:

  • Learn how to investigate and diagnose faults using Apple diagnostic tools and order the required replacement parts
  • Prepare estimates and communicate the work required to our customers
  • Undertake hardware repairs and test once complete
  • Ensure quality control procedures are strictly adhered to
  • Deliver exceptional customer service
  • Become a certified Apple Technician

Key requirements:

  • Experience of repairing technology. (Phones, tablets or computers of any kind)
  • You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Have a can do attitude
    Be a team player and share new ideas and information with your colleagues
  • Have a passion for Apple technology and have had some exposure to macOS & iOS
  • The successful candidate will receive full training and will progress through Apple Certified training, for both macOS and iOS products. As new products are released Apple training modules are delivered to develop a service technicians experience and skills base.

Apple Retail Sales Associate

Preston (Full-time)

Join us at our Apple Premium Reseller Store, a unique place where people come to discover Apple products. Be part of our team at Western and show your passion and expertise as you connect customers with Apple products.

Ideally, you will possess:

An understanding and passion for Apple technology

A retail or customer service background

The skills to understand a customer’s needs and provide the right solution

A friendly, confident personality with good communication skills

An organised and professional manner

The role will involve:

Contributions across the whole store including but not limited to visual merchandising, restocking and keeping the store clean and tidy.

Learning and sharing by building a strong knowledge of Apple hardware, software and services by using Apple training and processes.

Supporting customers by proactively approaching them and building rapport. Understanding their needs and supporting their purchases.

Driving in-store sales and discuss ways to buy with all customers including trading in old devices.
