Apple Service Technician

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated I.T Technician / laptop repair technician. The successful candidate must have experience in inspecting and diagnosing and/or repairing computers and mobile phones. We would prefer a candidate with some customer-facing skills. Experience in working with Apple products would be a huge advantage.

The day to day running of a busy Apple Service centre.
Diagnosing and repairing iMacs, MacBooks, iPhones and iPads with both software and hardware faults.
Replacing existing hardware devices.
Component level repairs including motherboards and graphics card.
Integrating with a strong team of friendly staff.
Using Apple's Global Service Exchange database on a daily basis.
Responsible for ordering, stocking and returning of official Apple parts.
Maintaining our high level of Apple KPI scoring.
Dealing with customers face to face in a professional and empathetic manner.


Skills / Qualifications / Experience Required

Must have previous experience of computer or phone hardware repair in a commercial environment.
Must be a team player.
Must be able to think on your feet.
Excellent communication skills both face to face and email.

Apple Educational Specialist

Proactively approach all schools within a sales territory with a view to becoming their preferred Apple provider. Identify key personnel within institutions, approach them and seek a face to face meeting. Explain our entire range of services and solutions we provide, demonstrate core Apple technologies such as Mac, iPad and the software tools to support teaching and learning.
Generate opportunities to provide system proposals/quotations, follow up and close the business. Identify potential marketing/event opportunities such as Teach meets or Technology days where we could further promote our services within the region.
Manage existing accounts, keeping them informed of the latest Apple developments, that support teaching and learning. Encourage the use of Apple technology across all curriculum areas, with a view to expanding the existing deployment of iOS and macOS devices.

Achieve a monthly and annual sales target
Deliver sales activity reports and sales forecasts
Build and maintain a sales pipeline, prospect list and client database
Approach all academic accounts within your sales territory
Identify key decision makers and seek an introduction meeting
