In a busy studio environment, software issues can cause considerable disruption and time delays in meeting deadlines.

However, expert help at the end of a telephone can help resolve problems quickly and efficiently.

PowerUser contracts cover all OS systems and key Mac applications including QuarkXpress, Adobe Creative Suite, Macromedia Studio, Filemaker Pro and Microsoft Office.

Upon request, a report can be submitted to the department head on regular basis analysing the faults reported and identifying areas where staff may benefit from formal applications training.

At Western we understand that one workstation being out of action can be a nightmare; however, a server being out of action is a disaster.

For this reason we are happy to tailor a contract to ensure that servers and storage solutions are on the highest level of cover available with the option of fault diagnosis and potential repair over a VPN (Virtual Private Network) link using ARD (Apple Remote Desktop).

Should the fault require an on-site call out, ARD will allow the support team to gain as much information as possible to enable the field technician to work on the problem immediately without having to spend valuable time on the initial diagnostics.
