    Course Overview
    This course is designed to acquaint existing InDesign users with the practical aspects producing materials for publishing ePub (Fixed layout). No familiarity with ebook production is assumed and the course starts with an overview of existing and potential outlets and shows how to originate or repurpose existing material. Create a fixed-layout ePub with InDesign CC and preserve the design across multiple browsers and ereaders. Learn how to optimise your existing text and graphics to work in a fixed layout; and find out how to add links, animations, slide shows, pop-ups, video, and sound to create richer and more interactive ebooks

    The course covers text and images, testing and validation, and building in data for search engines; finally getting the file ready for ePub. Teaching is carried out using a worked example.
