With iTunes U courses, students have been able to work at their own pace or choose a topic to stretch themselves with. “They are so independent with it, it’s really transformed their learning.” says David Chart, Assistant Subject Co-ordinator for Maths.
In addition to support and learning sessions delivered by Western, Clevedon now has its own unique support team. Key students, nominated as ‘Digital Leaders’, run regular help sessions for students and staff.
“I’ve really found the partnership with Western Computer very positive and productive.” says John Wells. Deputy Headteacher, Jim Smith, adds, “It’s a credit to Western that they’ve enabled us to deploy iPads in a way that we know fits our learning journey.”
