Apple Technician


Servicing and supporting all Apple products. An ideal opportunity to further develop a career working with Apple systems. You will be responsible for providing hardware and software support in a busy Service Centre environment.

Among a number of tasks your key responsibilities will be:

To provide the diagnosis of software and hardware faults
Prepare estimates for repair and communicate with customers directly
Install and test replacement parts
General administration

You will possess:

Computer experience hardware and software (Apple technical knowledge will be seen as an advantage)
Smart appearance
A friendly, confident personality with good communication skills
Organised and professional manner

Apple Business Specialist


Apple is becoming the preferred platform of choice for both desktop and mobile computing in the business sector. This has been achieved by offering a truly flexible IT solution that enables anytime anywhere business and by addressing the needs of media rich environments. Every business is looking to enhance and embed IT within their infrastructure, ultimately they want to raise standards and they need assistance in achieving these goals.

Local Government creative departments

Job Purpose:

Proactively approach businesses within Gloucestershire with a view to becoming their preferred Apple provider. Identify key personnel within businesses, approach them and seek a face to face meeting. Explain our entire range of services and solutions, demonstrate core Apple technologies such as Mac OS X and iOS.

Generate opportunities to provide system proposals/quotations, follow up and ultimately close the business. Identify potential marketing/even opportunities such as technology days where we could further promote our services within the region.  

Key Responsibilities:

Achieve a monthly and annual sales target
Deliver sales activity reports and sales forecasts
Maintain a sales pipeline, prospect list and client database
Approach all business accounts within your sales territory by phone, email or letter
Identify key decision makers and seek an introduction meeting
Build personal relationships with our customers and maintain them with regular contact
Develop and maintain a set of key accounts
Communicate/demonstrate our solutions
Identify potential opportunities to market our service such as events and trade fairs
Manage all aspects of the relationship such as sales, service, training
Attend Apple and third party training
Sustain and develop product knowledge

Key candidate qualities:

Have an understanding and passion for Apple technology
Experience using OS X and iOS
Have an understanding of the business sector from either previous sales or working experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Smart appearance
Ability to engage with all levels of management
A friendly, confident personality
Comfortable using the phone to contact customers
Comfortable meeting customers face to face
Comfortable delivering effective presentations
Ability to quickly establish and maintain personal relationships
Good administration skills
Be well organised and possess good time management skills
Hold a good level of basic IT knowledge
Ability to work alone and as part of a team
A desire to deliver an exemplary customer experience
